I was never interested in getting a credit card before. I get the offers in the mail all the time but they have gone right to the shredder. I like to pay for things in cash. I learned that from my Dad. He to this day still gets his paycheck and takes it to the bank to cash it in person. He says he feels like a man when he takes his check into the bank instead of having it magically appear over the internet. I think I’m ready to change my stance though and I have my roommate to thank for that. He told me about a check he got from is credit card company the other day. It was for $250 and it was free money just for using his card. He explained he has a nice cash back program and he cashes it in every couple months. I was floored and never knew such a thing existed. I am going to start paying attention to those offers for cash back credit cards that come in the mail now because I could use some free money too.
